I hadn't actually realised the date. I went to Glen's family Doc that afternoon, who's Scottish (needed to register), and was telling him that I was going to see the Scotland v Figi Rugby League World Cup match at the local stadium that evening. They had a huge fireworks display, and only when they started did I realise that it was the 5th Nov! Not having a Houses of Parliament means they have no idea about it over here! But at least I got to see fireworks on the day... It meant a lot.
