New year was greattt in Amsterdam. This Russian girl, Brazil, and me went to Damrak Square for the coundown. On the way, we met 3 guys from Paris, whom the Russian girl knows. Also had fun in the hostel with the Italians (they are sooo funny.. MAFIA), talking to them is like playing 'guess the word'. Also, the Australians from Perth in the other room are funny.
I stayed 2 more days in Amsterdam after New year, I loved that place so much, its my favorite destination ever. Everyone I met was so happy, friendly and fun. The last days in Amsterdam I spent in another hostel- The Flying Pig, the Aussie guy from Brugge reccomennded that. It was so different from the last hostel, its not allowed to smoke in there etc. Then there I met lots of people, the atmosphere in that hostel was just the greatest.
I was walking around, Vondelpark, visiting House of Bols (BEST MUSEUM EVER!) and on the way, I met 2 guys from Nuermberg and visited Heineken factory together.
I am in Copenhagen now. In other words, Køpenhaven or something like that. The night on the train here was terrible. It was like 7pm left Amsterdam, reach Copenhagen at 10.30am. I didnt reserve beds, just a seat to save some money. It was such a loonng ride. The funny thing was that the train showed the route like this:
AMSTERDAM - KØPENHAVEN
Berlin Prague Moscow
And in Europe, its usually means that the train leaves Amsterdam and its final destination is Copenhagen. And that the train passes Berlin, Prague & Moscow in between.
I was like whattt.. i dont wanna go to RUSSIA!
But then nah.. just passed Germany. It was quite funny, we passed Hamburg, I saw the city, the lights the streets the waters. it reminded me of the times during the class trip in Hamburg, so I got quite nostaglic. There was also this 2 Dutch people in the cabin with me and it was funny, everytime we pass by a strange train station, she be like 'ohh.. we are in russia/spain/italy' :)
The Danish have such strangeee things going on. So far, its the weirdest place i've been to. Its so different from Germany, Netherlands,Austria, etc. The coins have holes in them, everything is so expensive. The language sounds a bit like German sometimes, but sometimes I think its so so so completely different. I dont really like this place. Although its supposed to be a big city, seriously, this place is like a ghost town, there is like nobody and nothing except shopping. The past days Ive been doing literally almost nothing. Just chill in the hostel.. its so nice, like a hotel. I am too tired to move, it is too cold to move too. Tomorrow I will see the city. Also, I met this girl from Solvakia who lives in the hostel, she told me about how it is said that Danish guys are the most goodlooking guys in the world. So then we went to a pub that night and it proved true.. guys were goodlooking. But the bad thing is that alcohol so expensive. She also gave me some Solvakia coins.. also the new Solvakia euros (they just joined EU on new year)!
I think so tomorrow I will see the city. After which I go to Odense (birthplace of Hans Andersen), then to I guess Holland again (either Rotterdam or Hague). I loved Holland too much. I am not doing Hesinglør and Helsinbørg anymore.. I dont like Scanadavia much at all, its expensive, boring, cold. After which I go back to Germany. I be going to Berlin on the 9th till 11th. Mosbach the 12th. Then 13th Frankfurt. 14th Singapore.
