wow the pictures are amazing! It looks so sunny and blue - pretty much just like leeds except the blue here is the rain falling constantly instead of the sea and blue sky that you have!! xxx

Ok, I'll rise to the bait!!
Glad you had a good time in Byron Bay, surfing sounded great.
Enjoy Sydney and Ayers Rock. What's all this sleeping under the stars business when you get there. Don't they have spiders and snakes and dingos and things?!!
Take care xxxxx

Hi girls!
Hope the weather has calmed down. Amazing pictures on the news of the cyclone. glad you were a bit further down the coast, Hopefully the next one that's predicted will lessen before it hits land.
Spring still not here in the UK.Remains cold and no daffodils yet.As you can imagine Nix is eager to borrow my car!!
Looking forward to some new pictures as soon as you can!
Take care and enjoy your time in Australia.
With lots of love Mum xxxx

Can't believe you swam with sharks - very very brave (and very silly) thing to do!!

Hey Sal and Jeni!
Just wondering whereabouts in Oz you've got to ... we're flying to Sydney tonight (plane leaves at midnight, grrr!). Perhaps we could meet up for a drink somewhere along the East coast!?
We're in Beijing now which marks the end of our Asian adventures. No more squat toilets, yessss! We hiked along the Great Wall of China the other day for 5 hours, eek ... I felt like I'd just run a trillion marathons - all of them uphill, d'oh. To top it all off, this Chinese woman wouldn't stop following us along the Wall until we bought something from her - she was so annoying, "you want buy postcard? book? picture? t-shirt? ... maybe later?"
Anyhoo, I should go. Making the most of c-h-e-a-p internet for the very last time (did you know China have their own version of Google because the Chinese government have censored most of the internet? Can't even access the BBC website here, boo).
Byeeeeeeeeeee for now, hope all is well, big hugs, Clare x x x

Hey Jennifer. I'm very jealous of your sailing and the sun, its -5degrees here today. Used to the cold now. However I wouldn't want to have seen those sharks, I would have panicked and then they would have eaten me. You getting stung by coral reminds me of when we got stung by the fire coral in the caribbean, was it as painful as that? Well i must go, got uni shortly. Keep enjoying yourself and take care me smelly. Your lil sister. PH xxx

Hi Jeni Thanks for the email - do send us some piccies when you can. The sharks must have been a bit unnerving, but everything sounds great - very different from Asia! We are off to Bankok on Thursday and over to the island of Koh Chang on Sunday. Oh for some warm weather. Hope Sally has turned up safely. Take care. Love Sue xx
