Don't know what kind of tree this is, but they are everywhere and they're big.

The trail was pretty steep at times and a part was washed out from all the rain last week. They had over 400 mm in 5 days. Talk about your 100 year storm.

After breakfast we drove to Burleigh Head National Park where we hiked the mountain trail. This pic is from a lookout In the background you can see the buildings of Surfers Paradise.
