Did I mention how hot it was today. Yes, it reached 37 degrees today and with the humidity it felt 42+. We had to eat the rum & raisin ice cream really fast because it was melting do quickly.

After a light lunch, we strolled the docks of the Cairns Yacht Club. Pretty impressive. You can see the sky is dark and foreboding. As I write this about 8:30 pm we are in the middle of a major thunderstorm. Thunder and lightening everywhere and raining kangaroos and koalas. We were going to walk to dinner, but instead took the car.

After we walked back from the BIG pool, (about 2 klicks) we were so hot, we had to have another swim to cool off.
