Well this morning we looked at a map and saw we only had about 150 klicks to go so we decided to take the "scenic route" through the Blue Mountains. We drove to Singleton on the New England Highway, had breakfast at a small cafe, and then turned south on Route 69, a twisty, windy and hilly road that added 120 km to our trip. We had fill up with gas before we left. This station was the first one we saw in the first 100 km and as you can see it was closed. it was remarkable just how twisty the road was. Sorry I didn't get any photos as I was driving. Del took a lot and I'll get copies later. Grammi took some movies clips.
