Today we flew to Germany. It was a very quick trip from London to Frankfurt. The most standout thing from the air was forests with small areas of farms around the villages and the Rhine river. Once on the ground we encountered some more unsmiling people at airports. The man at the customs desk was unamused I came through the EU citizen queue, even when I pointed out there was no other queue. The girl who we picked up the hire car from definitely did not enjoy her...

Today we just wandered about the town enjoying being in Germany. Many people spoke some English. Never the less we continued to impress them with our pronunciations of their language – Not. They are, however very tolerant of tourists murdering their language and very friendly. The germans certainly eat a lot of meat, bread and sauerkraut. All of this washed down with big buckets of beer or wine. Finally I had a wonderful coffee – Kaffee mit crème! W...

We left Yeovil early to have as much of the day as possible in London. Passed Stonehenge. It's still hard to get used to seeing thousand year old relics being so common. Got to London easily , an early checkin had been sorted for us, room lovely. All perfect. Got the train to London. Found the last minute ticket stand in Leicester square. Decided to go to so Wicked then went for lunch before heading to the British Museum. The museum is huge and full of items ...

Today we went south. We went to an English beach, visited my popa and uncle Kevin. We also saw a man on a hill........

Spent a relaxing day in and around Yeovil. Did some shopping and visited the country parks attached to th town.
