Hi All, this time we are embarking on a Grand Tour of Europe, of course with our good ol' RubberRat, no trip would be complete without him and our new travel companion 'Rusty' our trusty 27 year old VW campervan. So on Monday10th September we head down to Dover, wave Blighty goodbye (Good riddance!) and head into France for the first leg of our trip South.

Hi All, and kalispera to anyone arriving here after reading the article in 'Greece' magazine. We're having a working break in Dublin, sampling lots of Guiness (touristy, but you really should visit the Guiness factory if you come here, quite spectacular!) we're at Four Courts, looking out over the Liffey. Corfu - Brindisi Italy Hi again, Loads of travelling for me today, so i'll hop up onto M's rucksack out of harms way...The ferry is due in to Corfu town Harbour at 10pm to depart at 11:45, as before we don't trust this and arrive early and the quayside is thronging with Italians . Our ferry is clearly late and then a ferry bound for Bari (quite near to Brindisi Italy) arrives. There is absolute chaos now as all the cars for the Brindisi ferry are lined up...

Paxos to Corfu Hi All! The big folk had an early start (Complete with hangover) we take the car to the harbour & leave it (will be collected later) & wait for the hydrofoil. We are well versed with Greek timing, so we take all three possible times, deduct 30 mins from the earliest and get there . The Hydrofoil turns up at a time of its own...We 'fly' to Corfu arriving in Corfu Town at 9am. Its good to be back here and we have all day here. This is a large b...
