Hey!!

I haven't posted anything here for a while cause we have been quite busy and had no internet for the last 2 days, but we are now in Corvallis!!!!!

So, here's what we have been up to over the last few days; well for our last few days in LA we went to Universal Studios, it was pretty good, firstly the weather was amazing and it's set up in the Hills so you got some really good views of the surrounding area. The park itself was also pretty cool, we went on a studio tour and got to see Wisteria Lane!!!!! Also the rides were quite good! Especially The Simpson's ride, it was a virtual simulator thing and it was soooo good, it was like you were actually there! We also spent the day at Santa Monica beach, which was cool, again it was very sunny and hot, and the town was really nice, was quite touristy though. It was exciting seeing Baywatch style lifeguards in their little hut lol! We spent the last day doing a bit of shopping on Hollywood Boulevard and visited La Brea Tar pits, which are basically just big pools of tar that preserved loads of animals. We then flew to Salt Lake City, the weather was just as hot as California which surprised me! When we got there we went to our hotel and were told we got a free upgrade to their much fancier hotel across the road and it was pretty fancy! Our room had a corridor, a lounge, a bedroom, a closet area, two balconies and a bathroom, which was all marble and mirrored with double doors! So we were quite impressed! The city was very pretty, we went to a mall and did more shopping and then just wandered around the rest of the city and had a meal. Then I just relaxed for a nice change, I have developed a love of House so I just watched that back to back!

Today we basically just travelled to Corvallis, its cooler here than LA and Salt Lake City but it was still quite warm this afternoon, i didn't need a jumper or anything! We had a little walk around and saw the Campus and my Halls it all looks very pretty and American lol! I can't believe I am actually finally here, I'm really excited but also a little worried that i won't fit in and eveyone will think i'm weird!

So i guess this means this is my last blog entry. Things should be a lot less hectic now and i'll have a regular internet connection so i'll just speak to you all on facebook.
