9-11/12 - Traveling the Bolevan Plateau This was the best experience.....hands down....awesome. I rented a scooter and had my first taste of kah fe Lao (Coffee) ......which i have bought and will make you all one when i'm back. We got geared up on our scooters (Scott decided to follow my lead for one day) I showed him how to change gears etc. Basic moto skills. Bought some straps to occy straps to tie down my pack. Loaded up on water ...good to go. Off to Patx...

Bangkok is coo. Arrived at 5 am in the morning and split a cab with some german guys (Daniel and Stephan) to Khao San Rd. Ended up splitting a room with these guys as it was cheaper. Also didn't have to pay for the first night du to the 5am check in so was effectively paying 4 $ a night. Ok I'm reflecting back to my breif time in Chumphon. The ferry ride was insane i took a video of it that i have to show you when i get back. After finishing my SCUBA i decided to try this free diving caper. THis ia basically breathing in a controlled manor for 4 minutes and slowing your heart rate right down. Then you dive down a rope holding your breath. This is definately more extreme than SCUBA. LOL. So yesterday we dived to 12 m deep and today i dived to 20m Deep. Yes 20m deep underwater. I did 4 dives to 20 m and one i held at the bottom. It takes so much control to fight the urge to breath in...

I am now a qualified openwater scuba diver. Did 4 dives off Koh Toa for 40 mins each dive. It was so beautiful. Saw many fish including a fake nemo fish. That is a saddle backed anemone fish, also saw a pink clown fish. Christmas tree things pop in when you swim past. So many cool people on this island.
