Hello all! I know i've been crap at keeping this thing updated but as promised i am going to give you the low down of Melbourne!

Ok so ive been here for about 3weeks weeks now. Melbournes awesome everyone's been really friendly and ive managed to meet loads of new people. On my first day i gave Jon (i know from work in oxford) a call as he was in melbourne too! I know random but wicked. So we went for a wonder around the streets of melbourne with his ozzie friend which was cool and i got to get the feel of how melbourne was. The next night i went out with two of my good friends from melbourne-Nick and Jake-and i met loads of their mates which was a good way of getting to know people fast so that was really good. And for the last 3 weeks i've pretty much been chilling out, going out, playing cricket, playing volleyball and various other random activities (including spending way too much money) with Nick, Jake, Ella (who im staying with) and various other friends that i've made on the way! Night life here is awesome ive had some wicked nights out and also seen a couple of live bands which were really good. There's a lot of busking on the streets and thats where you get to see some of the really good groups play. Last night was new years and me and a group of mates went and got pissed at this beach hut which was awesome to be on the beach at new years! Gotta say its the first time ive ever swam in the sea after counting down for new years!! We also went on this mission to find firewood and this guy gave us like 8 bags of wood for the price of 2 so we made a massive fire too! My only complaint so far is that they all eat so much sea food and as most of you know i dont trust anything that lived in water so i struggle from time to time but dont worry mum i'm not starving!

So anyway this is pretty much it, im off to tasmania in a week and its ment to be beautiful there so i might get some fishing done and i'll also be able to get some better photos as its more landscapey. Il keep you updated! Laters
