Pleasant ride this morn. Left off without a plan. Just get near Dubrovnik. Turns out near enough is better than good enough. The ride was a good one. Set out this morn without much fuss from Slovenia headed south to Croatia. Took the smaller roads and glad I did. Apart from the campervans on the road it was pure pleasure. Broke all the speed limits and loved it. Finally got the new rubber ground down on the edges if the tires. The best money I ever spent was on the headset for my phone/GPS. A good ride coming out of Austria. Austria did its usual "oh that will be another 3 € for that" on the way out. Financial ruin by a thousand cuts. Italy was not much better. Did the ride from a campsite on the Swiss / German border to the alpine region of Austria. The country is the most striking I have ever seen. Arrived at another campground in a valley by a large freshwater lake near the town of Spittal an der drau. The weather here is hot and fine. Carry on camping!! All the cast is here! Pitched a tent in the paddock and went on a tour down to the lakeside. A fantastic panorama over the lane of the alps in Switzerland.
