Just wanted to wish you both a very Merry Christmas! I finish work today (altho I think technically I finished last week!) and can't wait to a few days off! Going to Leeds tomorrow to see the folks then I'll be down in London for the New Year - not as glam as Oz I know but at least I'll have made it to the capital!
Hope you have a great time - will you be seeking out somewhere for turkey, stuffing & all the trimmings or going for something more exotic? No doubt whatever you have it will be well washed down with the local poison! Cheers! Hx

Hi Ross, just been catching up with your travels. Looking at your photos is like stabing a knife through our hearts. We have been back just over three weeks now and NOT enjoying every second! Noticed that we were all in thailand at the same time but still thousands of miles away, it was really nice that Dan and Melissa had chance to meet up with you. We haven't spoken to them yet since they have been back. Where has your hair gone ross, when you arrive in Oz email us and we will tell you the best place to find some!!! Keep Safe.xx

Liked the pics of Batu Ferringhi in Penang. I bin there!I'll have to trawl thru some of my photos if I can find 'em. Big lizard pic was good too, but if you see those Aussies again tell 'em to stop eating cats. ;)

Hey Ross, hope your enjoying the trip so far. Saw a programme on the delicacies of Thailand yesterday, and a break down of what to expect to be able to buy in Klung Toi Market,Chiang Mai and the Floating Markets. I expect a full graphic report on how long you keep the following foods down, should you or Rich try them:- Bird's nest soup (Swallow's saliva),Frogs Ovaries (lots of yummy vitamins and minerals in them and good for the libido),deepfried worms, grubs, ant larvee, tadpoles, grilled frog, 1000 year old eggs and baby sparrows. Or perhaps you may fancy, grilled chicken intestines, barbequed fruit bat and spirulina (live algee) to wash it down with. All this sounds very tempting and perhaps you could have your own projectile vommitting competition afterwards, kind of makes Macdonalds seem decent grub after all. Keep the pics coming mate, they certainly show the beauty of the places you have been to. Take care mate and if you're short of a few quid, see how much you can get for the Yiddo xxx

Hi there! Thanks for the postcard, sounds like you are having a great time! It sounds odd that you are off spending a few days on the beach when its winter here! Once you get to Thailand if you fancy a few days in the Jungle I can recommend the Jungle Huts in the Khao Sok National Park - its a family business, and they'll teach you a great game involving a water bottle, thai whisky and balance!
