The adventures never end and after three days we where on our way to the Whitsunday Islands. The sea is like glass, except full of fishy life and the beaches are fantasy material. We went to awesome Arlie Beach, the launching pad for a 4 day Whitsunday Island cruise on a catamaran. Again we met a great bunch of people and sailed away with the sun in our eyes and the wind in our hair. We sailed as far as the Great Barrier Reef. We did some amazing dives. Ross did his first night dive and loved the buzz. We saw the lot, loads of turtles, clownfish, parrotfish, blue spotted stingrays, black and yellow eels, angelfish and most of all sharks…he was pretty big but he was more scared of us than we was of him, phew! We also had the chance to swim with the friendly Maorigras fish…huge colorful and friendly tropical fish indigenous to the Barrier Reef. On the last day we sailed to Whitehaven Beach, the most celebrated view of all the Whitsundays and were stunned with the beauty of this place. Back on the main land we had a fantastic night out with the crew and danced till the sun came up after having the dangerous Jagermeister slammers (Redbull with a double shot of Jagermeister dropped in the glass to fizz to the top and down in one)…can’t remember much of the night!
