Hello! My first blog entry ever!

I am sat in an internet shop in the main backpacker area in Bangkok: Khao San Road in Banglamphu. Feels very surreal! Flight was fine and found the right bus from the airport ok, when i got off i didn't have a clue where in the world I was, but set off to find a guesthouse for the night. Was walking quite a while as I went the wrong way, alternating between laughing at the hilarity of my situation and extreme worry about spending the night on the streets of Bangkok! Was very hot with my backpack on wondering around, think I sweated at least 2 litres! Doesn't matter we all know i am hardcore and will acclimatise in a matter of minutes haha! Nearly got run over every 2 minutes because the roads are so busy and it seems to be every vehicles right of way at the same time! But found a guesthouse eventually even though it wasn't one on my list (annoying becuase on my way to use the internet i walked past about 5 that were, just missed them down a little Soi). But its ok for 1 night, had a shower although i already need another one, and get breakfast tomorrow which i'm sure will be interesting! I've only been here all of 3 hours and i already look like all the other travellers - a mess! Awesome. Been up for well over 24 hours now so going to go try some noodles or something off a street stall as all this commotion has made me very hungry, then try to sleep. All the food looks and smells great. Cannot wait to meet up with my group tomorrow!!! Had enough of being alone in Bangkok! I'm sure my walk to the meet-up hotel will be an adventure all on its own.
