Just to let you all know that I am still alive. Even though I got a bucket full of water from a cess pit spilled on me from a very high height at the building site today- deeeelightful. My children are gradually learning to read which is incredibly heartening. We went to Hikkaduwa at the weekend and had lots and lots and lots of fun in the church of dance that is Vibrations and its banging drumming choons. Saw our Sri Lanken surfer friends and many other beauteous surfers. Had a lovely hangover on the beach the next day. Bought some made to measure board shorts for 2.50 each, and a handmade dress for about the same. Plus some amazing rings. Going to Kandy at the weekend- the capital of the hill country- very excited. My friend Elenor and I have moved up to Dudley's house which is much easier, cleaner and more fun as we can chase around and tickle dudleys children- Pramadi (6) and Dulan. (3) Very cute when they're not tantrumming!! New people- all seem nice so far! Better go and get some shopping. Hope all is well at home. Lots of Love xxxXxxx
