GREAT to talk on the phone last night, and lovely of you to call. After all the upheaval of the last few days it was very comforting! Writing this in Yorkshire, so got broadband down here, now, which is brilliant. Done a bit more sorting out - did a dump run yesterday with stuff from the toilet block in the playground, which was satisfying, although stacks left! Got the new bed delivered this morning and the last of the gravel for the lower garden. Also got a pressure cleaner and I've cleaned the patio. Of course, I was complaining how useless it was when someone helpfully pointed out that I hadn't plugged it in!! Worked better after that. Lol.

Hope you're just chilling and having fun after a rotten few days. Such a shame about your camera, it was great seeing your pics! Much love for now to you both. xxx

Just to let you know we went to Belize a couple of days ago, and stayed on Caye Caulker which was okay, but the whole place is really expensive. So this morning we got a bus across to Flores, Guatemala (5 hrs) where we´ve found a nice friendly hostel. Planning a trip to the ruins at tikal early tomorrow, and we´ll post photos and updates soon.

Loving the photos but the pangs of jealousy are nearly killing me - got it from Kim in Perth too!

I had forgotten about this site, hence why so late getting on here, but it's on my bookmarks bar now so will be keeping up better! Was relying on Facebook alone! Dad reminded me about this one!

Fudge is fab, getting huge as you can see from my photos - she misses you both dearly and will always remember the time you spent together... hold on, this sounds like a tribute...

Anyway, I've been on half term, lazing with the dog. The young lad with the earring that had been in a band before left X-Factor last night, sadly not the annoying Alex. We're off to Nando's and the Bond film in just a second.

Nice to catch you on fb yesterday, I doubt that will be happening much as you are relyng on internet cafes.... but then my life is not as exciting as yours, so I am on it a lot! I am cooking a big roast dinner today, all the trimmings...... (jealous yet?) ok, then I am going to port solent, which is a marina, cloudy brown water with the obligatory scum on the surface, common pompey people spitting on ground and sometimes at people, might see a dog or two and if we are lucky......our hats won't be blown off in the gale force winds! I'm having trouble reading the names on my world map; the writing is very small! I think I need a magnifying glass to check where you are. I'm also hoping my geography improves this year.

Sounds like you guys are having a great time.

We have just enjoyed dinner with Aus/Jan & Yvette her in Maidenhead, and heard about your travel plans for the next 9 months. Edina is going to mention to her sister Tara your travel plans - she lives in Sydney and would be good fun to stay with for a night or two - Tara knows how to party so should be a good a good host to meet up with when your are in Oz.

Thought I would add postscript,yes gutted about the match but the jammy side won yet again.Liverpool won though !Glad you are both safe and sorted after your frustrating flight.It was good seeing you off and having a break in London,The quality of travel with National |Express seems to have deteriorated since taking over from GNER,hard to believe.Anyway looks like we are now in good communication so will talk again soon.Enjoy.Iain
