It was reassuring to find out that the builders had actually turned up via Gill and Nick's message, if a somewhat convoluted communication channel. Looking forward to photos of a drunken St Patrick's night in Cairns

You have put an amazing set of photos on today ---has Kev stopped holding up those towers yet? Passed 109 this afternoon to see the infrastructure of the kitchen being thrown into a skip --you are missing fun there.
Luton won at home on Saturday but you wouldn't have guessed it from the look of the supporters leaving the fround.

I can see why you chose Georgetown. Quote from Wikitravel "If you're waking up early, be sure to look for Chinese Dim Sum stalls as they are only available in the morning. But don't bother looking for any other activities besides eating." Doesn't make it clear if that's just in the mornings or any time.

Hello chaps! Received a fantastic elephant-branded card through the post this morning - thank you very much! Really pleased that it worked out, and fingers crossed for a repeat performance on the way home. Dad was impressed with Kev's film choice and is planning on picking it up on his next Bangkok. Safe trip to Malaysia xxx

Pete will be disappointed to hear you had a bad experience at Ban's, given he had such a great time there. I'm sorry you didnt get on with scuba- but do try getting a mask and snorkel and having a go at looking underwter. It really is fantastic- and if you might get to the Barrier reef it would be a shame not to look down!

Hi Rosankev,
Just realised yesterday when I was at P and J's that I've been writing on your wall but forgetting the message board, so I've had lots of catching up to do, reading all your messages from day one! We all had a lovely evening on Saturday at the Moroccan restaurant that used to be Lebanese (I didn't notice a difference) - it was made extra special by the presence of the big guy, just down from Hull that day. Spent yesterday clearing out the kitchen - a job and a half, I can tell you! I left before it was finished, leaving poor old Nicole to continue till god knows what time... Can't wait to see the end result... Love Ali x ps do you want Luke's address in K.L.? Let me know if it'd help.

Apologies for my terrible spelling/typing

Well we can vouch for your prents being returned to Luton safely by K and M.They are now steeling themselves for the Great Litchen Transformation. Speaking form experience it is as well to be a few thousand miles away.
You both sound as if you are getting the hang of this travel lark -10am an early start!!!!!!
Kate & Martin
Hi both,
Well, we delivered the olds safely back to the UK, as you can see. I don't think Southern Spain expanded their horizons as much as your trip is doing for you, but we had a very relaxing time.
Take good care.

Hi Rosa,
Love the latest batch of photos, we are all nice and cramped here in IT. Snowed yesterday, new girl is off sick so Becky is on here own again. You're not missing anything at all! And we all wish we were there.
Hope you are both well and enjoying yourselves, lots of love xxx

"Nobody was feeling their best as we got off the catamaran at Koh Tao port to be greeted by the eager touts." Has to be a candidate for a first line in 'Ex Libris'.

I cannot believe it. A whole blog entry without a description of a meal. Your public, especially Rona, will be sadly disappointed.
I note that my Mothers Day e-mail did not mention the hiring of a scooter. Thanks for protecting my finer feelings. Your brother showed less sensitivity to his mother's over-developed capacity for worry. His card announced that he was going to Ryan's birthday party where there would be a 'bin of death'.
Bring on the photos. Of Koh Tao, that is rather than the bin of death
