Back again, after another week that has gone INSANELY quickly! Well, the start of the week was pretty slow, we were sitting out on the veranda (i.e large step) at home on Sunday afternoon when the Director for New Life Academy, Joseph, pulled up in his jeep. After observing local custom (asking him how he is in about 5 different ways, then offering him a drink) he finally told us the news, we had Monday off thanks to George Bush! Hello again... Well, it's the end of another week (I can't believe i'll have been here for a month on Monday - told you it would go quickly Mum!) and i'm back in one of the only internet cafes in Arusha where the internet actually works. I was supposed to be skydiving by Kilimanjaro this morning but there was a pretty horrific crash (2 locals, 2 foriegners dead) so all flights are postponed for a while whilst the police do their inefficient, corrupt, thing. ...

Okeydoke, I've got the afternoon off today (a rare thing I assure you) so i'm back in my favourite internet cafe/mobile phone store/possible cover for drug smuggling enterprise (God I love this town). This morning I was teaching at J K Nyerere Primary, the poorest of the two schools I work at. My housemate Catriona and I did a lesson on adjectives that was pretty hilarious, teaching the kids words like 'strict' 'greedy' 'kind'. After getting a few test sentence...
