We are on our way heading for Casablanca. Tonight the seas are very calm and smooth, and while we were having dinner, the Captain has just announced that we were passing through the Strait of Gibralter. As it was dark and not good for photography, I stayed with my Black Forest cake and coffee. Tomorrow at 6:55 AM we are supposed to be ready to go ashore for our scheduled tour. The wake up call came in at 5:30 AM as requested. We went to breakfast early and were ready to roll at 6:55 AM. We got on the bus with our tour guide "Joseph" and drove through Casablanca and on to "Rabat" which is the capital of Morocco. We visited the Royal Palace built in 1864, and on to the mausoleum of King Mohammed V, and then on to the Hassan Tower after which we stopped at the "Golden Tulip Restaurant" and were served "mint tea" . Then on to "Oudaya Kasdah" and through he narrow alleyways to the "Souks". There Chellah Gardens occupy a site originally abandoned by the Romans in 1150. Then back on the bus and a one and a half hour drive back to the Ruby Princess.
