Just keeping you updated on the situation here for me. I finally managed to secure a permanent job so no more temping for me at the unholy Capita. I am now a slave to the system at James Hay....so big change there. Heh. Only took 4 months.
Spoke to Nicole today to see how she is getting on at JP Morgan and I don't think she is too happy. But I'm sure she'll go into that when you talk to her next.
You must be nearing the end of your trip by now aren't you? Back in time for christmas I'm sure I heard you say. Hope you are still making the most of things as the weather here is getting pretty miserable and those lovely dark evenings are here again. Joy!
As for everything else...I think Salisbury and such have not really changed that much since you left. Not sure about where you live but you aren't missing that much (aside from the odd child birth in your family it seems).
Take care.

What great photos, you look really well Rosh, I hope thats a true reflection of how you are feeling. We celebrated firework night as usual at Albury Park, it was very cold but dry, and Sunday afternoon I spent at the church hall wrapping up shoe boxes in christmas paper and filling them with small gifts that all the churches in Alresford had colected, they go to children all over the world, so I was thinking of you and the children you have been teaching, maybe some of the boxes will make there way to India, I hope so. I have spoken to Rachael and and I will send Jake & Joddie a card and the cardigan I have made for the baby. We are on holiday in Kent from Friday, so as I don't have a lap top I shall not be able to send any messages for a while, so keep safe and try not to have to much fun as I want you back here eventually. Love Diann

On an ancient wall in India,
Where a brooding Buddah blinks,
Deeply graven is the message,
"T'is later than you think".
The clock of life is wound just once,
And no man has the power,
To tell just when the hands will stop,
At late or early hour.
Now is all the time we've won,
The past a goden link,
Go travelling now my friend,
"T'is later than you think".
Hi Folks - have just posted a few more photos - Albums 'Rajasthan' & 'Rajasthan 2' - you may even see a glimpse of yours truly this time! (just to prove I really am here!). Will try and post some more news in a few days time, we're moving on tomorrow to some rural village so may not have access for a while. Love to you all Rosh xxxxx

Hello again Roisini,
Good to hear you are still having a good time and the things you are doing sound so fun and varied. Weather here has suddenly gone into that sunny but very very cold setting so you think its nice but end up needing the old hat and scarf. I'm sure the weather is a bit more reasonable over there though.
Not been doing much myself this end apart from finishing work at the pub in town. Need more time to study etc. Also gives me more time to sleep in the evenings. No more 2am finishes. Hooray.
Are you still planning on going anywhere else when you come back or are you going to be enlightened enough???
Try to post again soon with something more interesting to say....just wanted you to know I am still here.
Ciao

Pressed the wrong key, Congratulations on the birth of your grandaughter, I shall ring Rachel tommorrow to get their address, so I can send a card, I like the name they have chosen, have you been able to talk to Jake yet? or seen a picture of her? Sorry I haven't logged on this week I don't know where the days have gone this week, nothing exciting has happened anyway, not like the life you are having(except for the long hours when you are traveling) The weather has certainly changed this week, all of the flowers are dying rapidly in the frost, but the sun has been shinning brightly today so its not all bad. Dave is out withn Ross this evening, so I am trying to catch up with things. Don't fall off of any of those roofs!I would love to hear from you if thats possible as Iam really missing you. Take care of yourself. Love Diann

Hi Roisin - you have done such a lot since I last signed on-all sounds so mind experiencing - wot memories you will have- are you sure you will be coming home and leaving all that ?- we have been away for half term to Barbados- a well earned sunshine holiday for us! My highlight was snorkelling with the turtles- they are so graceful and so sweet when they poke their little heads above the surface- snorkelling on the hotel reef was also so peaceful- very meditational- talking of which -three of us are signing up on the 19th April- mantra here I come!! Keep up with the journals -its really exciting to hear from you.
Lots of love Jenny
hi everyone, so great to hear from you all (will have to write this message in lower case as capital keeps getting stuck on this pc).
Am now in jodhpur, quite a scenic city from the rooftops; the city is dominated by the mehrangarh fort; half the buildings are painted in blue (to keep them cool and to repel the mosquitos) so from above it is quite a colourful site. from below, it's a maze of cobbled lanes (quite dirty as usual) and colourful shops. yesterday we had a 5 hour bus journey to get here, that was an experience in itself! and last night we had dinner on the rooftop restaurant, it was quite a beautiful sight, there were fireworks going off in the distance, and about 10pm the call to prayer started. tonight we're trying a different rooftop and tomorrow we're off to jaiphur visiting some desert tribes on the way, should be interesting.
di - thanks for all your messages, i'll drop you a line to your email when i have more time. may even be able to give you a call.
dan, i love you loads, please give jack lots of cuddles from granny and tell him i'll have lots of bedtime stories for him when i get back. love to katy also - i can't wait to get the whole family together when i return, now that we have baby lilly on board.
by the way, for anyone reading who didn't yet hear the news, my latest grandchild was born last thursday, to proud dad jake, and proud mum jody, little baby lilly, i can't wait to see her and cuddle her.
must sign off now, but will keep updating, either through this message board, or my journal (when i can get on to it) till then, take care all, lots of love, rosh xxxxxxx
