Scenic train journey from Bangkok to Hue Hin which was a very odd place. A nice resort with posh hotels and loads of families and middle aged couples. However when you go out in the evening all the bars are full of hookers and it is not in the least bit discreet. Not sure what the kids make of the entertainment (or the wives)! Hired a couple of motorbikes during the day which was good fun. Starting to get the hang of the chaotic roads. Left there this morning by bus and we are now in Chumphon from which we are catching a ferry tomorrow morning to Kao Tan, the first of our Thai Islands. Decent hotel with two double beds and air-con - 4 pound each. Just biding our time between now and the morning by watching Man Utd beat Arsenal which kicks off at midight.
