Arrived at Warsaw on the train . Country side very flat people very poor . Warsaw very pretty 3.5 mill population . All the buildings have been rebuilt , the Germans wreaked an burned everything , but the brave poles rebuilt , driving to the kings palace now 400 years old . Warsaw is a nice place , the poles have put up with a lot of wars in the last 200 years , 80% poles buy there property . Not like the Germans 87% rent
Just went through the kings castle very good , yellow building 370 years old this tour company is very good ,they even brought us 40k into the country for a dinner , before a live show , there are huge glass houses with flowers and vegetables growing . Lovely little cottages , once own by the Jews till the Germans killed them all 3 mill approx just this part of Poland
Had a great night at Warsaw out in the back blocks , in the country , at a real polish restrutant with all the bus load .life wine@ food

We are going to auschwitz, the death camps then staying krakow , the main roads are very bad in Poland . All half finished . A bloody mess , one story , they contracted the Chinese to build the roads , but the poles stop paying them , so the Chinese destroyed all the roads they had made and left the country , the man says they pay 60% tax here , do you believe that , no wander they find it hard to get anything done
