Pura Vida is a saying in Costa Rica that can be used simply to convey well-being and tranquillity. It can also mean that anything is possible, or that nature is beautiful; but it is essentially a phrase that encapsulates the manifestations of the happy-go-lucky opportunism of the people in the countryside in Costa Rica.
