Wednesday 4th March Got up early and called a taxi to the airport at six forty five. We caught a flight back down to Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur) and picked up a car. We then drove three hours up to Cameron Highlands, up in the mountains where the rich go in the summer to escape the city heat. Tuesday 17th February Selamat datang ke Langkawi (welcome to Langkawi), We we arrived at Kuala Perlis at about 8 O;clock and made our way to the ferry terminal, we caught the boat at 9 O;clock. As we left the land behind, the water became a beautiful turquoise colour, there were lots of small islands on the way and the journey took us about 1 hour. Wednesday 11th February Got up early and made our way down to the bus station on Beach Street, we booked the bus with Grasslands bus company the fare was 30 Singapore dollars each which was about ￡15. The bus was 26 seater and very comfortable, big reclining seats and lots of leg room.
