Friday Mar 1 was a busy day - after breakfast with the Smiths, we ran some errands including a haircut and manicure for me. Liam and I took a walk after he woke up from his nap - we walked the nieghborhood searching for American flags on display and basketball hoops, a modified version of 'I Spy...". We arrived at the Bakums for dinner 6pm with the Millers right behind. Great fun to visit with them and the Bakums' friends, Fran and Bob, who are temporarily living in center city Philly after being displaced by Hurricane Sandy. Tom, the chef, made his own chicken liver pate which was excellent! Dinner was caesar salad, pasta bolognese, broccoli rabe, and Fran made key lime pie for dessert. The Bakums also served homemade limoncello...This foto is of Diane (on left), Judy (middle) and me after dinner. We have been friends since we started Albright College together in Sept 1965!!!
