Hi!!! hope everyone's well!!

We've just had the most craziest day travelling from the Cameron Highlands to Batu Feringhi, in Panang - it was completely mad!! After getting a luxury bus to Georgetown and a taxi on to the bus station, we got on one of the local buses, which would have to be the worst bus journey ever!!! i think it was more to do with the time of the day, as all of the schools had just got out!! it was already packed by the time it came to our stop, but they insisted that we still got on - i kinda knew it was going to be a bad idea! we were packed on like sardines and i think we were just making matters worse with our big backpacks - it was awful and it was disgustingly hot and sweaty!! i was glad to get off it!! hehe!

Anyway we obviously decided against staying in Georgetown (where most people would stay) as we didnt really want to go to another big city - so we've come on round the coastline to this small town!! when we eventually got here it was lovely!! we basically had the beach to ourselves this morning, so we just sat and watched people para-gliding - it was cool!! There isnt much else to do here, so we've just been relaxing today. its been a good change from the madness of the bigger cities!!
