Alix sends her love on her first birthday, although Dad was working and therefore I was the man of the house. Grand-dad and Gran came round with that annoying woman that I call auntie. Great time had with cake that Autie Mary made. Eve slept in but I got up early to sing happy birthday to Alix. Mummy is still complaining about a sore back and makes Dad do all the house work.
