We were delighted that the 18 hour bus ride was amazing, seats better than first class on the plane, fully reclinable, hot food served to you (3 course meal!) unlimited free alcohol and a night cap!!...and english films for once...delighted! We arrived at one of the best hostels we had stayed in the whole time we had been travelling, a massive pool, sun beds galore, tango shows and all you can eat bbqs at night...what more could you ask for! Well infact one more thing we could have asked for was sunshine, we spent the whole next day rained in due to a massive thunder and lighting storm. Luckily when we awoke the next day it was far better weather, so we headed out to the famous waterfalls we had gone all that way to see! This was the soggiest day imaginable but luckily also one of the sunniest, we managed to stay dry for about 20 minutes at the longest, but the falls were definately worth it! They were spectacular, we took a train to the top of them and walked out over them, then made our way down to the middle of them before making our descent down the hundreds of steps to the bottom of the falls. We then took a speedboat and drove straight into the waterfalls and got completely soaked to the bone! It was an amzing day even if we did spend the majority of it looking like drowned rats!
That night was our final goodbye to margo who over all we had traveled with for about a month, so we headed into the tiny town of Iguazu for some last delicious Argentinian wine. After a sneaky few hours in the sun the following morning it was time to say our goodbyes and jump on our 24 hour coach to Rio!
