Get off at Uni of Queensland - drinks in SU Bar, walk around campus - jokes as go into virtually every dept altho bottle the chance to sit in on a lecture! See loads of AWESOME tennis players practising. Also visit Southbank - area with man made beach, lagoon and nice gardens and resturants, Botanical Gardens and Financial District. Tin Billeys dinner, jugs a plenty at Fiddler...

Arrive in Brisbane early afternoon - check into City Backpackers Hostel. Walk around city centre - check out 'The Valley' nightlife area, China Town and Roma St Park. Hostel - group feed - with James and Jon - jugs at Fiddlers Elbow hostel bar.

Beach chill - nearly finished Da Vinci Code now (just in time for the film). Hostel BBQ again - cinema to see Mission Impossible 3 with Jon and James.

Get greyhound bus from Byron Bay to Surfers Paradise - only 1.5 hrs so nice and easy. Check into Cheers Backpackers and check out beach and town. BBQ at hostel - drinks with some absolutely hilarious girls from Croydon before heading to Shooters with other hostel people. See Spurs lose to West Ham - and finish 5th sadly!
