Today is our last day in Singapore, very warm - 33 c - walked to China town, stopping off en route for tea and a muffin. Coming back we called in at speakers Corner by the park and just made it back before it rained very hard. Later went to the pool again for a quick swim - quite nice despite the rain - only person in the pool for a while! Tonight went out to the Micro-Brewery best of German beer and Thai food - rice and spicy pork! Back to the hotel - early st...

Finally arrived in Singapore yesterday and had a rendezvous with Richard! Felt like a long week - took the subway to City hall and checked into the Pan pacific hotel. We have a got a lovely room overlooking the pool area. After a freshen up went out for chicken and rice at the mall and a early night! Woke up at 6am today body clock not too bad and went for an early swim brrr a bit fresh but lovely! Next stop Sunday brunch at KFC - of all places but quite nice ...

Yesterday arrived in Singapore and had a rendezvous with Richard good to see him seems like a long week! Didn't take long to get into the centre on the subway - city hall was our stop for the pan pacific. Quite humid but at least no rain bit different from the forecast. Busy busy day! after weeks of planning, preparing and packing the departure day for me to go and join Richard has finally arrived! Set my alarm for 5am but actually slept past it and got up just before 7am - went in to work - I know mad! just to finish a few bits and pieces or at least hand them on - and then home again for final preparations and trips to the post office, the supermarket and the tip even!
