Well we couldn't resist a quick blog about our gorgeous 10 weeks back home. It's been a whirlwind of stags, hens, weddings and fun (if a little rainy) weekends away. I even fitted a little work in whilst my house husband got our next travelling stint sorted!
We had barely touched down before Dan was whisked off to Tenby to embark on a 4 day stag extravagansa of mountain biking, golf, and an 18 pint (fairly unsucessfull) challenge. My turn was to follow with three hen weekends that included yurting, canoeing down the River Wye, living the high life in Ross, pottery painting, swanning around in Bath, and even a (generous) 11 am cider tasting tour.
Then of course the weddings - congratulations Mr and Mrs Baillie, Dr + Dr Jitan, and the soon to be Mr and Mrs Moore. We lived in Tipis in Cornwall, weekended in the New Forest, and next weekend is a secret garden wedding in the home counties. Someone must have been sun dancing somewhere as they have coincided (and hopefully will next weekend too) with the best of British summertime weather.
We even squeezed in Mr + Mrs Hiles (senior!) Ruby wedding anniversay celebrations in Pembrokeshire, Nanna Marys 89th Birthday, and a lovely weekend in Somerset with a heavily pregnant Holly! We've even had visitors from the bright lights of London and Cardiff.
So, with the Baillie loft (among others) creaking under the weight of all our belongings again, we are ready for Part II, which begins in Beijing on the 16th...
