In Athens, at last! Well, we arrived around 7:15 PM local time and took the metro to Syntagma Square and walked our way to our hotel from there. The hotel wasn't hard to find after all. The hotel is kinda old with creaking floors and shared, wet bathrooms. But it's livable somehow. The best thing is it's close to the places of interests like the Temple of Zeus, the National Garden, and the Tomb of the Unknown. The Acropolis and the Parthenon are at close range as well.
Jade and I rested for awhile before we headed back to Syntagma Square to grab some bite. I was amazed at how cheap things/foods are in Greece. That's good news given the condition of our anemic wallets. Hahaha!
We finally decided to eat at McDonald's (bummer! I know, I know) coz it's late and we didn't really want to eat heavy meals. We got a meal for 25 NOK that consisted of a chicken burger, a choco milkshake and a bowl of salad. Not bad at all! The meal would probably cost twice or more in Norway.
Well, signing off for now. It's gonna be a long and exciting day tomorrow. Weeee! Gleder meg. :)
