We loved our camper van in NZ and we loved Rotorua! So utterly envious of you at the moment. And yes, the weather is bloody awful in old blightey - although very picturesque walks at the weekend and enjoyable times in pubs with log fires, snuggling in.

It looks as though we might be beginning to warm up a little here towards the end of this week - at last. Everyone is fed up with the snow!

Hullo Graham and Lindsay. It's only taken me about 3 weeks but I have now found your blog and am currently writing a comment on something called the message board. It's all very technical. I hope you're having a very good time over there. Over here it is very cold. And nothing works. And the BBC is depressing everyone by telling us constantly that nothing works, and that it's very cold. Actually though everything is working. Except the BBC. It is very cold though. And the price of whiskas keeps going up, and I mean I was never going to be an IAMS cat now was I. Anyway I hope you're having a nice time in New Zealand, where it must be summer. Have I mentioned that it is very cold here? However, it is shortly to be Spring, and soon the days will be getting longer and all of my friends who have abandoned me and travelled literally, geographically, physically and mentally as far away from me as possible will be coming back. Their absence has scarred me and I'm currently finding solace only by talking to an imaginary friend called Chris in an internet chat-room.

So really, I just wanted to say have a lovely time and please come home soon. The country needs you more than ever.

i bet it feels toasty warm in NZ after Vancouver, although there were a few chilly nights in the van for us! Make Graham sleep in the loft bit if he misbehaves...

It is supposed to be 41 degrees here tomorrow, so we will probably not stray far from the pool! Have seen a kangaroo and a possum, so will begin the koala hunt soon.Can you believe we are missing the only decent snowfall in ages?!?

G & L - Don't forget to squash a few Possums when you are driving. According to most Kiwi's a good Possum is one which is flat on the road - they hate them apparently. Happy driving in NZ, take care. Mark and Carol
