Hi guys, well today we headed out on a road trip of relatively large proportions considering that it was only for the day! We set out for Wave Rock which is 350km from Perth. On our way we passed through the towns York (and nearby Beverley!), York is a very small town about an hour from Perth where we stopped for a coffee. Corrigin was our next stop where we stocked up on a few supplies to keep us going on route to Hyden and Wave Rock. After 5 hours of driving we reached Wave Rock and as you can see from the picture it is pretty spectacular - it is basically a big outcrop of strangely weathered granite! After Wave Rock we stopped off to have a look at The Humps (granite boulders) and Mulkas Cave. We then went in search of a coffee in Hyden - more difficult than you might imagine! We then headed off on the long journey back to Perth.
