Well we are back in Brisbane but thought that I ought to do this and update you on the last few days in New Zealand.
Rotorua
You have probably seen the pictures on fb but this is the day that we rolled around in the mud like little piggies, it is supposed to be good for the skin... the sulphur though we are still smelling in our skins, will hopefully be gone by the time we get home, good news for you guys. ha ha
We spent a couple of days here which was good as we had been travelling around for 1 day stops for nearly 2 weeks and we were shattered, the only thing was the hostel that we decided to spend 2 nights was also occupied by 200 students, a dream come true hey. Did remind me of when I went camping withe the school and tried to arrnage midnight muchies etc. Never mind still got arest as they had a 10pm curfew, thank god.
Mt Maunganui
Arrived on the bus to bump back into Todd and Erin who we left behind at picton so we were very pleased to have some pals to go drinking and eating with. Fish and Chips and lots of ice cream ( sorry gelato or as adams say GELOTO) ha ha our american friends found this very funny....
Wine Tasting at Whaheke Island
Ferry across to the island and can you believe they had a wine hopper bus to the door of the winery....$5 and a free $10 voucher ( you know me like a bargain) worked out 2.50 for 12 wine tastings by the time we had done 2 diffrent wineries we was already doing a kimmy, ha ha .... found a tractor to makeout we were driving and eventually found a curry burger?!!? not the best but better than a empty stomach.... good day had by all and the girls fell asleep on the ferry.... good times
