Sadly my time in Kerala has come to an end, but it's been an awesome 2 weeks. Managed to cram a lot in to a short space of time, including renting a houseboat on the Keralan backwaters, chilling on beautiful beaches in Varkala, going on a 3 day jungle trek searching for elephants and much more. Met loads of other travellers but also managed to get close to some of the locals and get an insight into what life is really like. An awesome place, definitely worth future visits. Heading up North next to spend a few days in Delhi, Agra and Jaipur before moving to Mumbai for Christmas and the New Year.

Hey Rav! Glad to see that the epic World Tour has gotten off to a great start! The pics look absolutely amazing, good to see that some parts of the world are still pretty unspoilt! Keep us updated... keep those pics roling in, and have an amazing and safe journey!
PS: Say it with me... "sunlight"... surprising how a pretty decent permanent tan in the UK looks SO pale in a sunny setting :P

Well, made it safely to Chennai, only to find that it's the rainy season and the streets are flooded. After an eventful taxi journey through flooded streets I eventually made it to the hostel which is very nice and homely. Heading off to Kerala on a 17 hour train journey tonight, but hopefully that should bring me to some sun, gorgeous beaches and some good quality sea food!
