Since us and the Costa Ricas (Carlos, Paulo, & Mosqui) were heading the same way; we shared a taxi across the boarder from chile to Tacna (peru). Travel is definatly easier when we have our own spanish interpreters!
Arrived at the bus station in Tacna to found out that the town was celebrating world tourist day, so being the only tourists around we were given pisco sours (local cocktail), and lots of people wanted to take photos of us, and the local tv station even interviewed Mark (in spainish!). The bus we were catching to Cuzco wasn't leaving for a couple of hours so we got taken on this free bus trip around the town, which had a local band on it, and we ended up at a pisco brewery having more free cocktails!
Only just made it back to our bus with less than a minute to spare!
