Now if you're wondering why they chose a Polar Bear to be the logo for a rum distilled in Australia i shall explain. Apparently the rum was only popular in certain parts of Australia and hadn't taken off in the South. As it gets cold down there at the bottom of Australia and people catch cold the head of marketings brainstorm went like this:- people in the south catch cold, the rum warms you up and also helps keep away colds, polar bears live in the cold o can't catch a cold so that's what we'll use!!!! Think he needed to look for a different job!!
