Christine It works just like it's supposed to It's not pseupr tiny, but then I've never seen a decent surge protector that was. I like the fact that the prongs fold up into the body so they don't kill anything in my backpack or laptop case. I also like that fact that it's a single unit without any extra cords. I have enough cables hanging off my laptop and one more to untangle & stuff in my bag would be one more too many I almost gave it four stars then thought, Why? It does everything it's designed to do and fits everything I carry my laptop in
