Just logged on at Bangkok airport and viewed your pics of the place. We love Asia, so much going on. There's always something to look at. Had the most amazing hols. Our 2 day river Trip from N Thailand and through Loas was great. We went to villages where the young children had never seen a foreigner before! Also stopped and gave some first aid to a lady who had badly cut her hand and had just 1 Stitch in it as that was all she could afford. Loas is much quieter and laid back than Vietnam. Our tour guide had been a monk for 15 years and took us to his monastry, even showed us his old bedroom! It seems a monk is the only way to a good education, free board and food for alot of young boys. Had some good nights out in Cambodia. Due to Pol Pot over 30% of Cambodians died and the place was flattened, hence loads of new really modern bars and clubs. We went to the Killing Fields where you could see bones in the ground and garments. Sunrise at Angkor Wat was lovely. Can't wait to catch up on your travels. Enjoy New Zealand. Take a helicopter ride at Roturrara and over Milford Sound. xx
