Well, here's the big update that everyone wants so much. Its been a pretty crazy past 4 days, probably the most exciting, frightening, incredible and eye-opening that I have ever had in my life. From leaving Harrisburg tuesday at 10, to arriving in Italy Wednesday at 11am, to lost luggage and finally seeing the Duomo at 3pm to today, so much has happened. I haven't taken many photos yet, simply because its been such a whirlwind and I want to breath in the city...

Finally in my apartment with internet! I arrived around 11am yesterday but, with my great luck, my luggage was left sitting in Rome. The result is that I'm wearing the same clothing I wore when I flew here, but hopefully the luggage gets to me tomorrow. Other than that small snag, everything has been perfect. Florence is amazing, and my apartments location is amazing. The view is simply perfect, the third floor on 14 Via Sant'Agostino. My bedroom has giant win...

Sitting in the airport waiting for my flight to Rome. The plane doesn't leave until 5:07 and boards at 4:21 so I have about 4+hours of downtime. There's a nice bar next to the terminal, D11, and I'll probably head over for a drink in a little while. The flight here from Harrisburg wasn't bad, only 3 seats across a "puddle-jumper" plane. I luckily had a solo seat on the left with a nice view of some of the huge houses outside Washington D.C. Only proble...
