Hilarious story, she tried this ring on in one of the dozens of glass shops that dot the island, and couldn't get it off. She tried for about 5 minutes with all the people in the store laughing and the clerk almost in tears. Finally they said that if she couldn't take it off, she would have to but it, and so she did. She didnt get it off until we were back in Florence
