La Sainte-Chapelle ("The Holy Chapel") is a Gothic chapel, perhaps the high point of the full tide of the rayonnante period of Gothic architecture. Sadly, I visited while they repair the stained glass windows, which compose 270 degrees of the wall, and the windows they are fixing are the most impressive over the altar.
