Not sure what this means, I'm assuming the Latin above explains but I can't read that. Just seems odd to have a dog high-five a lion

From what I figured out, the sibyl is a priestess or prophet. In the one carving, the lion represented the people and the she wolf the city of Siena. The two are making an agreement .
