It's me again, my last day in New Zealand and I must say I'm going to be so sad to leave this beautiful land. What an adventure I'm having, so much happens in such a short space of time that I feel like I've been on the road for most of the year. If I think back to bay of Islands at the start of my tour it seems I was there about January time. Anyway I don't know what happened to my last set of pictures well it's a bit of long story, this internet business is hard you know when you are not using a computer you are used to, the amount of travelers I hear going, 'I had a nightmare trying to up load my pictures, I've been in the internet café for 6 hours' and so on. Anyway all you need to know is I lost all my pictures and now I have them all back and there seems to be lots of copies of each or something like that. So Christchurch, not my favorite place it's just another city, in fact it stems further than that it's just another city that is just like another city back home. It reminds me of York, or Cambridge or somewhere like that. It has a Cathedral, lots of ye old English pubs, and you can even go punting on the river and stop off for a quick game of cricket old chap if you happen to have your whites with you. It is however a nice relaxing place to finish my trip and catch up with exciting stuff like washing and shrinking my clothes in the tumble dryer, drying my hair and the hair dryer blowing a fuse that sort of thing. But I think I've had enough excitement until well tomorrow when I fly into Cairns. You know I feel like I haven't been on a flight in ages, honestly. I'm still bumping into people I've met along the way, the girls I met in Fiji are on my flight and there is someone next to me downloading pictures of the Halloween night you see in my pictures. Very odd. Yes that was Halloween in case you were wondering. You will also notice I have downloaded some new pictures of what I got up to yesterday. As I've bored everyone in the hostel I've only got you left to tell. So……I got to go out on a boat in Kaikoura about 3 hours from Christchurch. We went about 40 minutes out to sea and swum with the dolphins. An amazing thing to do, I still can't believe that I've done it. There must have been about 20/30 of them that I could see below me and circling me, it was incredible what a way to end this leg of the trip. There I was out in the middle of the Pacific with a bunch of tourists screaming 'Oh when the saints' Salvation Army style down my snorkel to try and attract them, and it worked, amazing I would recommend it to anyone if you ever get the chance. And Now I'm off for an early night before I start boring you to death about my encounter with the dusky ones.
