From Lauterbrunnen Valley and Switzerland we drove on to Germany and to Heidleberg. After hiring a cabin for the night (only 5euro) each we went into town for a look around. Had a look at the castle and some monuments before finding the most amazing Christmas shop. Spent a while looking around before heading back to camp for our last meal cooked by Kim, our tour cook. Was a great meal then onto celebrating Jess and Mikeys early birthdays. Next day we had a stop in St Goar at a beer stein shop. Also there was the worlds largest cuckoo clock and the first teddy bear factory. We then headed into Holland and Amsterdam. Set up tents before heading into town for a look around. Walked through the red light district and saw a lot of coffee shops before heading back. Next day we went out into the countryside for a cheese and clog making demonstration before arriving in Edam for a bike ride through the town. Back into Amsterdam for free time before getting ready for our last dinner together. After dinner we were ready for one last party night together. A great night with a great group of people! Headed back to London the next day after leaving a few of the group behind in Amsterdam. The rain started as soon as we docked in Dover, typical England. Arrived in London at 4.30pm and said a very sad goodbye to everyone before heading back to Seaford to spend a few days in a classroom!
Had the most amazing 32 days on Contiki with lots of postcards, photos, souvineers and memories!
