Well it hasent actually been that long since I last spoke to u, was such a wonderfull surprise to find you on msn at that mo....and kinda wierd to say that as you are thousands of miles away from here. Hi Nids, Hope you are having fun. Another cold, wet and very windswept day up here in the outer hebrides. Does it ever stop Raining ????. Let us know when you go to Singapore and Australia. Sue wants you to go and see her very elderly aunt (lovely old lady) who lives in the suburbs. We were the only relatives of hers that have actually visited her a few years ago. Dear Lauren, Got all the latest news from Mum & Dad when they were here enjoying ( hopefully!) an absolutely top quality curry cooked by yours truly of course. Regretably, it was not a Thai one which would have been just the ticket as we were hearing about all your adventures. Not just in Thailand but also on that great challenge you and Steve took up in the Himalayas - I think that Dad is still recovering but didn't he do well in getting to the top of the mountain.I suffered from vertigo just looking at the photos.I gather that the next stage of your travels takes you to Singapore via Malaysia which brings back happy memories of holidays and in the distant past, being in the Army there fighting the chinese whilst lying on a tropical beach for 18 months. Try and do the train journey south if you can. Its a good experience. Best of luck for the rest of your trip and the same to James when you hopefully meet up with him in Oz. Penny is disappointed that she was not given the chance of looking after the Lauren guinea pigs in your absence despite telling her that they had vacated your Southgate bedroom centuries ago. She sends her love and best wishes. As do I.

I am so glad you are able to do some diving again, you always enjoyed it. You must be careful though, there was an account in the paper the other day of someone diving in - (continued underneath)

Australia who was attacked by a whole gang of sharks and was eaten by them. Of course you may not get sharks off Thailand. We are all well here, Grandpa is still waiting for his operation.
