Finally took the time to get all caught up with you traveling Wildmercers. Great to follow along on this blog. Loved all the music references in your NYC and LA entries. I often relate to my experiences with a soundtrack like that in my head.

I agree with your dad about the richness of your writing. It's a joy to read and puts me right there.

All is well. We had a Friday night movie tonight with popcorn, steaks, mash potatoes and the whole nine yards. Took care of the homesickness I think. Rented kayaks and paddle boards today and had a ball soaking up the sun. Don't want to leave yet!

Hey Rick. Having an awesome time in New York so far. Today had pizza in same joint in Greenwhich Village as in 2005. Good memories. No monitors yet. Lucked into live taping of Letterman this aft and got within three feet of Donald Trump and Selena Gomez (whoever that is). Assuming we don't blow through all our cash in Manhattan we will arrive in New Zealand on November 5 and head straight to the South Island for three weeks camping. Will return to Auckland on the 26 and other than Ms. Swift have no plans. Maybe a day sailing in the Bay of Islands (not Corner Brook now). Let us know what you'd like to do and well be game. Would love to meet Donnas Rellies. Watch us on Letterman tonight and at the Football Game in Jersey Monday night. Come on 1 and 7!
