Huaca Pucllana was the religious and administrative centre of the Lima in 200-700 AD, but was used as burial mount in 700-1430 AD. It was originally a stepped pyramid but the wear of time and the burial construction has smoothed out the mount so that tyhe steps are no longer visible.
